No day events this year at the WHF - Dinner only

Hello everyone,

After 2 years of pandemic, a fully canceled event in 2020 and a limited dinner only event in 2021, we unfortunately have recently decided to not organize day events this year.

The main reason for this decision is unfortunately around uncertainty on our usual venue. The Sandspit Community Hall is due to undergo some repairs and maintenance, and as a result may not be available at the time of the event.

We have not been able to secure an alternate location, and the complexity of finding a location coupled with the necessary adaptation of the event's format if we were to find an alternative, made us decide to cancel all day events this year.

Chef Giulio Piccioli from the Gather Restaurant in Daajing Giids, has agreed to offer a dinner at the Sandspit's Willows Golf Course Clubhouse this year. We are grateful to him and the Golf Course to agree to offer a similar dinner event to the one that we hosted last year (sept 2021).

More details will be shared about the dinner later in the summer, as we get closer to the date.
